Full-time Salaried Benefits
The following list is based on the MOU dated July 1, 2025, for the period beginning July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
- Holidays: (10 days) New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
- Vacation: 2 weeks after 1 year of employment. 3 weeks after 4 years; 4 weeks after 10 years
- Sick Leave: 96 hours per year (accrued at 8 hours per month). Full-time employees with a sick leave balance of 212 hours at the end of each calendar year may elect to convert up to 32 hours of sick leave to vacation.
- Personal Holiday: 56 hours per year, 64 hours after 10 years of continuous employment
- Bereavement: 5 days following the death of an immediate family member
- Jury Duty: Up to 10 working days within a two-year period
- Voluntary Vacation Cash Out: Employees have the option of cashing out a portion of their accrued vacation balance (up to 60 hours) once per year.
- Optional Deferred Compensation Program: The District will match employee contributions to the 457B Deferred Compensation plan for up to $600 annually.
- Medical, Dental, Vision coverage
- Retirement: Unit members employed by the District before January 1, 2013 are defined as “Classic” members under the PEPRA and are covered by the 2% @ 55 formula provided by the Public Employees’ Retirement Law at Government Code section 21354.4. Unit members who first become employed by the District after January 1, 2013 are “new members” a term defined in PEPRA. These employees are covered by the 2% @ 62 formula provided by the Public Employees’ Retirement Law at Government Code section 7522.20(a).
- Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance
- Other: Longevity Pay; Continuing Education with tuition reimbursement; Credit Union; Mileage and Expense Allowance; Personal Purchase Discounts; Professional Membership Reimbursement; Union Payroll Deductions (for Union Members); Bilingual Pay
*All employees are automatically enrolled in Social Security, State Disability Insurance, and Worker's Compensation.
Part-time Salaried Benefits
The following list is based on the MOU dated July 1, 2025, for the period beginning July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
- Holidays: (10 days) New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day if regularly scheduled to work on the day on which a holiday falls will receive 4 hours of holiday pay.
- Vacation: 2 weeks after 1 year. 3 weeks after 4 years; 4 weeks after 10 years
- Sick Leave: 48 hours per year (accrued at 4 hours per month) Sick leave in exchange for vacation
- Personal Holiday Leave: 28 hours per year, 36 hours after 10 years of continuous employment
- Bereavement: 5 days following the death of an immediate family member
- Jury Duty: Up to 10 working days within a two-year period
- Voluntary Vacation Cash Out: Employees have the option of cashing out a portion of their accrued vacation balance (up to 60 hours) once per year.

- Sick leave: 40 hours per year (capped at 48 hours)
- Personal Holiday: 8 hours per year, 12 additional hours for long service recognition
- Retirement: Public Employees Retirement System: Check with the Human Resources Department to see if you qualify.
- Optional Deferred Compensation Program: The District will match employee contributions to the 457B Deferred Compensation plan for up to $600 annually.
